DONATIONS 2015 – ANOTHER WONDERFUL YEAR
The Original Charity Shop and Library can look back on another successful year with almost 36,000€ donated to worthy causes. Caritas, the Franciscan Refuge, the Raquel Paya school for special needs children, the Red Cross ‘Ambulancia para Javea’ appeal, the Royal British Legion and Javea Insalud were among those who received much needed funds. A huge thank you to all our clients, customers and to our voluntary staff who made this all possible.

Santa visiting Raquel Paya Special School in Denia.
The Health Centre in Javea Town volunteers of The Original Charity Shop and Library were invited to see purchases made thanks with our recent donations. The physiotherapists were delighted to receive an electric bed and two infra-red treatment lamps and an emergency trolley was presented to Dr. Miguel Fornes.
A cheque for 5000 euro was presented to the Cruz Roja – Javea towards the Ambulancia para Javea Appeal by committee members of The Original Charity Shop and Library.
