The volunteers of The Original Charity Shop and Library, Javea (Arenal area) pride themselves on raising considerable funds for worthwhile causes. Our large, bright premises in Carrer Nancy has plenty of space for our wonderful collection of items for sale.
Our custom-built English language library can be found at Javea Park and has some 14,500 books together with talking book CDs, which are all on loan for a small subscription. We also sell quality greeting cards, gift wrap, etc. We always have a large range of books for sale too. Ideal for those on holiday in Javea.

We were delighted to help Project 4 All with a 2000 euro donation to their amazing organisation which delivers hot meals to the Homeless and those in need on the Costa Blanca.
They also supply clothes, blankets, support and friendship.

A lovely visit from the Balcon Al Mar volunteer firefighters today. They were showing us the two battery powered chain saws and the petrol driven chain saw which they purchased from our 2100 euro donation. We will continue fund raising for these brave lads in the autumn.

Some members of the Original Charity Shop and Library were welcomed with a tour of the Raquel Paya Special School, Denia, last week. We presented a cheque for 1500 euro towards future trips for the students.

Following a request from Stephen, wondering if we could increase our funding for food and hygiene needs. I can confirm that from 1st February, The Original Charity Shop and Library will increase the current amount from €1000 per month to €1500 per month.
